There have been a lot of questions about the Saint Nicholas cookies I baked that are seen in this Christmas post. They are so ridiculously easy it’s a little embarrassing. I just used my favorite sugar cookie recipe which is in Martha Stewart’s first Christmas book. I love that book.
Then I used my new cookie cutter from Saint Nicholas Center’s shop. After the cookies were baked I applied the cookie papers I bought with the cutter with a little royal icing. I use pastuerized egg whites that I buy in a carton since children eat these cookies and I have no idea where my eggs come from.
That’s it. I wish I had a more impressive story to tell :).
