Outside my window…Sunny and mild. Totally weird. There is snow on deck
for the weekend.
I am thinking. . . about how quickly Brendan’s first year flew by. But
then, those first years always fly by.
I am thankful for. . . A baby’s first year.
From the schoolroom. . .We finished up the second quarter today. We’ve
had some visitors in our school this week. The young ones from Chris' house are here doing
school while their parents deal with a family crisis. Please add
Chris’ young nephew to your prayers.
From the kitchen. . . Was supposed to be chicken soup but I am
totally out of stock (how did that happen, I always have a freezer full) and I
have no time to make some. Ideas anyone?
I am wearing. . . Boot cut jeans, gray turtleneck sweater and a lavender
Aran cardigan and these shoes. Gold hoop earrings,
my Ryan memorial bracelet and a rosary bracelet.
I am going. . . Driving the kids to chorus
and then right over dance.
On the nightstand. . . A few food
magazines and nothing much else.
I am hoping. . . That I come up with a dinner plan in the next half
I am hearing. . . Brendan playing with his new toy. It’s so well made and he is
loving it. He’s been walking for about two weeks now and I love the wobbly stance and lunging steps he’s
taking all over the house. So cute.
On Pandora… Kenny Chesney,
Around the house. . . It’s a disaster. A total disaster. At least by my standards. I need to do a big tidy up for tomorrow when I
host our homeschool mom’s support evening.
One of my favorite things. . . Homeschool moms joining
together for support.
A few plans for the rest of the week. . . That tidy up I mentioned. That gathering I
mentioned and a sweet sixteen party for a lovely young lady as well as a family
gathering this weekend.
Here is picture thought I am sharing. .
Oh how I miss those curls.
