Let's go out with a bang shall we?
Today everyone who leaves a comment will be eligible to win one of the following amazing prizes:
A signed copy of Karen Edmisten's book The Rosary: Keeping Company with Jesus and Mary.
Karen wrote a clear and deeply spiritual book that draws us all toward the rosary using simple but meaningful prose. Karen put her whole heart into the writing of this book and it glows through every page.
Karen has generously offered to give us a signed copy of her book and I hope that whoever wins loves it as much as I do. I've given this book as a gift to several people and they have all loved it and found that is has greatly deepened their love for this devotion.
You can visit with Karen over at her blog and share the wit and wisdom she brings to her everyday life. She has long been a source of inspiration and encouragement to me and I am grateful.
Next we have, and this is big, three one month free subscriptions to Homeschool Connections. Three lucky people will get to experience one month of the convenient subscription service. It works like this:
have immediate access to the class recordings as well as the content
and resources the instructor provided the students in the original
receive unlimited access to classes such as…

Macbeth: The Catholic Shakespeare with Henry Russell, Ph. D.
Democracy, Government, and Citizenship with Ed Rivet, M.P.A.
Christian Anthropology with Monica Ashour, M.T.S.
Blood in Sickness and In Health with Kris Correira, P.A.
Principles of Economics and Catholic Perspective with David Harris, Ph.
out a list of all our recorded classes.
You will have access to the list of “Recorded Courses.” And as the
Live Courses conclude they will be archived and made available as part
of Recorded Courses offering. (This is the explanation from the Homeschool Connections website)
This prize was generously gifted to us by the lovely and talented Maureen Wittman author of three must have books (check out her sidebar) and one of the people who makes all the magic happen at Homeschool Connections. Maureen was one of the first people to professionally encourage my writing and I will always be deeply grateful.
Saving the fun, crafty stuff for last
Anyone who knows me knows that I am craft and artistically impaired. I just have no talent for that kind of thing which I why I am so grateful that Mary Gildersleeve does have that kind of talent and is gracious enough to share it with us. Her book In His Image was written in order to help parents foster the creativity gifted to your children by the loving Creator of everything.
I know that Mary insisted that her book contain no fancy pictures of completed projects in order that your child could put his/her own stamp on the project at hand.
I think that's cool.
So that wraps up Give-Away week here at the Bonny Blue House. I hope that those of you who participated enjoyed the experience and if you did not win a prize I do ask you to support the kind people who donated, signed and posted about our week.
Comments on all of the posts will remain open until Saturday at noon. Winners will be notified sometime Sunday (after Mass). And the big announcement will happen Monday. If your number gets picked but I have no way to contact you I'm afraid I will have to pick again so please make sure I have your email address.
Good luck and thank you for your support!
