this cropped style?
One waits until mommy is distracted by sick babies two days before Christmas. One digs around in forbidden bathroom drawer to find mommy’s sharp, sharp scissors and one hacks off handfuls of hair.
I was beside myself. I took her to a local chain haircut place and the lovely woman there spent 45 minutes making it look like a real haircut. I cried everytime I looked at her for a day and now I’m ok. It is a Dorothy Hamil haircut, for those of you old enough to remember those, and I am told she looks cute. And she does. I am just a "little girls should have long hair" person.
Oh well, Kelli keeps things very interesting here.
Thanks again to everyone who emailed me about the twins. They are back to their sweet, happy little selves with an occasional heart-stopping, hacking cough. I can’t possibly respond to every email (there were 1180 of them) but I did read them all andDave and I are overwhelmingly grateful for all of the prayers.
I’ll be posting all of our Christmas joy as soon as I get some photos organized (hear that Dad, email me those pictures!!!).
I hope everyone will be participating in the Loveliness of Christmas Fair which will be hosted at O Night Divine on January 2nd. Send me your posts by Saturday.

My daughter Lily hacked off her curls with some help from my nephew several years ago. She had the most beautiful curls which have never returned. I think my husband was angry with her for months!!!LOL
Glad everyone is feeling better…

When my 2nd daughter was small, she had glorious, golden ringlets.
One night, I left out some scissors. The next morning, she no longer had glorious, golden ringlets.
And I immediately took her to the stylist to replace her self-created Farrah look!
Never a dull moment and I know we wouldn’t have it any other way!
