Margaret started a little Carnival of Kitchen Windows. I finally got around to the whole thing, as usual I’m about three days behind the rest of the world. Click on the picture for the whole view.
Ooh, I love the warm colors! My sister, too, has a “rooster” theme in her cozy, country kitchen. Not that I can be certain that you have this theme running throughout your kitchen, but I do like that handsome fellow resting on your window ledge!
Thank you for participating, Mary Ellen!
The trees outside are beautiful to look at from your chestnut-colored glass window. The dark shady colors you’ve used are pleasing to the eye. They match perfectly.

I love your view. The yard looks perfect for the kids. I love the pinapple, and I love your rooster. I have them all over my kitchen. Here is a link to the kitchen:

What a lovely, meditative spot.
You can use awnings to give a nice look from outside. There are many types of awnings available in market these days.
