We have been having some wild weather here at the Bonny Blue House today. The wind and rain succeeded in knocking down a little bird feeder Kelli had made in Homeschool Science Class. I put it on our table on the deck for safe keeping until the weather settles down. Look who found it among the plants I haven’t yet put in the garden.
This little guy is a frequent visitor to our bird feeder and I think he is getting used to me. I was only about a foot away from him when I snapped this photo. The flash scared him off but I was surprised he allowed me to get this close.
Speaking of the garden. Here it is still in progress. This is the site where our old pool used to be. The blue covered boxes in the background are our new pool which will be installed later this month. There are many varieties of tomatoes, corn, cucumbers, several kinds of peppers, celery, beans, several lettuces, and squash all interspersed with marigolds and petunias for pest control and prettiness.
I still have a ways to go but I’m pleased with it all so far.

That Cardinal is so beautiful. I can’t seem to get pictures of ours. Great shot!
