There have been a lot of questions about the Saint Nicholas cookies I baked that are seen in this Christmas post. They are so ridiculously easy it’s a little embarrassing. I just used my favorite sugar cookie recipe which is in Martha Stewart’s first Christmas book. I love that book.
Then I used my new cookie cutter from Saint Nicholas Center’s shop. After the cookies were baked I applied the cookie papers I bought with the cutter with a little royal icing. I use pastuerized egg whites that I buy in a carton since children eat these cookies and I have no idea where my eggs come from.
That’s it. I wish I had a more impressive story to tell :).

All the cookies are great i love them i really enjoy them with a glass of milk and my kids too they eat them watching cartoons.

I too have made the St. Nicholas cookies for years . I sent the St. Nicholas Center a check for more cookie sheets in November but have heard nothing from them either by email or letter. Are they still in business? If not, please tell me where Ic an purchase the cookie papers. Many thanks.
