One of our Mary corners
I liked the idea of a little corner to display some nature finds. So I cleared the opposite end of the shelf and added our Maine rocks, some shells from a local beach (we freeze our patooties off walk there during soccer practice), the last of the forsythia and a few dandelions that Kevin brings me on an hourly basis, a feather Erin found and a ceramic bird my mother made for me when I was a child. I love that little bird.
I hung the holy water fonts in our entrance on the bane of my existence the panelling.
This week’s craft from the Cottage were these adorable sailboats. Alice gave a lesson on symbolism which I largely missed due to cranky twins. They thoroughly enjoyed it though. As a matter of fact there were not enough boats and Kevin didn’t get one. This resulted in an uproar until both Patrick, of the Cottage and another friend offered their own boats to cheer him up. What gallant boys!
