If you are reading this through a reader such as bloglines you might want to click through and see our new look for autumn. This is particularly pleasing to me since I was actually able to do it myself without bothering my more typepad savy friend who is incredibly busy unpacking. She gave me such a great tutorial last time that I was able to change the banner with very little difficulty.
What I can not seem to manage, and it’s driving me nuts, is changing the text in the banner. I would prefer that it be at the bottom of the picture and that it not be white. I can’t figure out how to do this. Anyone with the secret, please share!
I have put some of our autumn reading selections in the sidebar and I will be updating them more over the next few days.
Have a blessed evening.

Well, my dear, I would much rather be chatting with you on the phone about blogs than unpacking, trust me 🙂 How about going in to the CSS and in the Banner Description section see if there is a designation for “text-align” you can then try “left” and then you may have to change the line height to move it down to the bottom. You could also leave it at the top and just change the color to a burgundy or dark grey, check your color choices in your posts section to get the color code and pop it in.
I love your new look and thank you so much for your sweet words, love and hugs!!

I live the fall look!
If you’d like, I’d be glad to help in anyway I can with your header. (I’m the one who did Meredith’s header and siggy.) I know I don’t have a blog, but I’m familiar with typepad’s coding and I LOVE to help people design their blogs. Shoot me email if you’d like me to help….I’m not expecting anyting in return, it’s a hobby more or less.
God Bless
