"Eight years ago I was first moved to cry at the presence of Christ in
the Eucharist. It was the Easter Vigil and my husband had, for the first
time, received the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Christ. I was
sitting in the congregation holding my two-week old baby girl close to
my heart in the sling as three little children lay draped around me in
the pew sleeping innocently. Unaware of the momentousness of the moment
they slumbered, long past their bed time. As David walked up to the
altar, his sponsor behind him, he received his First Holy Communion and
was confirmed in the Holy Spirit. I closed my eyes and truly felt the
warm and loving presence of God in that moment and I was overwhelmed
with gratitude for the gifts I had been given; a husband who now loved
God as much as I did and four beautiful children. The tears flowed
freely and I wept with joy."

My husband joined the church 7 years ago and I cried and cried with such happiness! I had no tissue and the man sitting next to me took pity on me and gave me his clean hankie! I was so apprecative!
