Yes Fire Island might be a bit rough. We did escape almost all of Irene’s rath just some wind and a bit of rain it went further East then originally predicted. Ocean was churned up and sort of still is. Melbourne Beach, FL
So sorry for your loss. Your prayers must have been answered, as it sounds like your mother’s last moments were very peaceful.
