There is no joy in Beantown, the mighty Patriots have gone down.
It was a nerve wracking, nail biting fourth quarter. But God smiled upon the underdogs and the Giants ruled the night. I felt badly for the 18 and O Patriots because they played an awesome game and had an unbelievable season. Tom Brady is a legend. Really.
Just tonight, Manning was better. And so was the defense. And the offense. Just better enough. We’ll take it.
Thank you Giants for an amazing season.
Now about that friendly wager……..

Ha! Deep down in my heart, I was sort of rooting for the Giants. I will not forgive them for beating my beloved Cowboys, but it seems I dislike Tom Brady just that much. I’ve been snickering to myself for the last half hour. Great game! Congratulations to the Giants (who we beat twice in regular season. 🙂 )

Great game – I’m glad you don’t have to wear those Patriot socks, Mary Ellen! Like, Jennifer, I’m sad the Giants beat my team (Packers) but so glad they could beat the Pats. So, I’m not the only one who dislikes Brady just that much.

WAY TO GO GIANTS! You may have prevented our beloved Packers from going to the Super Bowl, but it was great seeing you take down the Patriots. We cheered you on the whole way:) Hey, where’s that sock post? Dawn should be up before Midwesterners!

What a game! It will go down as one of the best in Super Bowl history. Manning and the Giants late fourth quarter drive was spectacular. Congrats! I am so happy the won.

wow, it was SUCH a good game! Dh even had reaffected his New Yawk accent by the 4th quarter. I did have one ds in tears over the Pat’s loss, we did not rub it in too much, and I allowed him to “re inact” the game on his gameboy this afternoon, so that the outcome could be what he had hoped for 🙂
way to go GIANTS!!!
