I was trying to explain how to change a fraction to a percent to Ryan. It was one of the rare times when the Math-U-See didn’t make sense to him. So I drew a circle on paper called it a pizza and drew a line down the middle.
"Now," I said as I shaded in half of the pizza "If I ate this much of the pizza how much would I have eaten?"
"Too much." Not missing a beat he added, "and that would be gluttony".
A day where there is something retained is a good day.
