No real production can come to a close without a killer cast party. We were blessed here at the Bonny Blue House to be able to host a pool party for the hard working cast and crew of Twelfth Night . The children worked really hard learning their parts (they perform the unabridged version of the play) and it was fun to blow off some steam and just play together.

Assemble the cast for a few words.
Our intrepid director plays a "name the character game". She called out quotations and we had to name who spoke the line. A certain Cottage mom put us all to shame. Kari (our director) then gave out beautiful thank you cards to all of the children. (Kari rocks!)
There was an abundance of wonderful things to eat. Everybody brought delicious things.
The pool was well used in spite of being frigid. It was full of blue, chattering children all day.
It was a lovely party. I think we won’t wait until next year to do it again.

The successful completion of a play is always exhilarating! This sounds like it was a marvelous adventure for all. Wish I lived closer – I would have brought my kiddos!
Blessings!
