Dad: "Are you saving this box?"
Mom: "Yes, you are going to use it to make a telescope with Erin this weekend."
Dad: "Have you changed my name to Macgyver ?"
Mom: "I have instructions from a science book."
Dad: "Instructions on how to turn a cardboard box into a telescope?" He says with disbelief and a tad of sarcasm.
Mom: "Hey I am constructing the entire Nile river and delta as well as a few pyramids out of an aluminum pan tomorrow, wanna switch?"
Dad: "I’ll make the telescope."
LOL! Hilarious!
I’d love to see picture of both!!!
That is funny!!
Sounds like you have some great projects going on!!
Oh, I can so relate. I thought my husband would love being like Macgyver. But after a medieval castle building project, catapult from tongue depressors and viking ship construction . . . . as well as few other misc. projects he has now put things on a 1-2-3 scale of difficulty and asks me “How difficult and how long will it take?”
However- he has taken to bringing home boxes from work that he thinks are a “good size”. Good size for what?
