Brendan Michael arrived at 11:46 a.m. on January 24th. I felt all of the prayers of all of who are so kind to read my blog. I ended up having to have a c-section which I was disappointed about but everyone's prayers sustained me and the important thing is that Brendan arrived safe and sound. He is a wonderful baby, nursing well and giving us much joy. His brothers and sisters are delighted with him.
His platinum blonde hair is giving all of the nurses a great deal of pleasure and there are little competitions here in the hospital nursery about who gets to shampoo him. 🙂
I can't describe my happiness. I am so blessed by a God who has bestowed upon me all of these gifts which I certainly do not deserve.
I should be discharged on Wednesday so I will post more pictures at the end of the week.
He is beautiful Mary Ellen. I have been praying for you non-stop. I’m so glad all is well. Enjoy your babymoon!

We’ve been praying and thinking about you…and it is soooo great to get to see the little guy! He has more hair than Sam already…and looks all around irresistible! I’ll praqy you heal well and quickly. Do you have a boppy pillow? They really help with nursing and make it easy for young siblings to hold a baby more easily/comfortably.

Congratulations! I just had my 8th on the 21st – he’s basically bald compared to Brandon though! I’ve seen babies with that much hair before, but it always seems to be dark hair, never blond. What an awesome privilege and responsibility we have been given!
