We are back from camp in Maine. Maine was cold. Very cold. Apparently they are not experiencing the effects of the this so called"global warming" They are decidedly chilly in the northeast and I have to say they aren't happy about it.
I wasn't either. The cold was bad enough, the incessant rain was a real party pooper.
There were moments however. Maine is an absolutely beautiful state and the people are wonderful.
All in all a fun time was had. white water rafting, kayaking, fishing and wading; friendly people, good food all contrived to make up for the weather.
Thank you Jackman!

Looks like a lot of great fun! I hate to say it, but as someone who lives in Florida….I could use a couple of 57 degree days!

I’ve been wondering about this so-called global warming myself… this is the first July 4 I’ve ever spent shivering in long sleeves!!

Foxy. 😉
Out one day in Maine was lovely…70, with a light breeze, but we were much farther south.

We’ve had 100 degree weather for the past 2 weeks but it’s dropped down into the upper 90s. It’s not global warming; it’s summer in Texas.

Yes, I call it GoreBullWarning now. I’m no longer giving it the attention it’s original name once tried to claim.
