Ok, let's switch gears and get girly. The winter has done quite a number on my skin and I can't be the only one. I detest being cold yet the dry air of a well heated house (Thank you God for the blessing of a well heated house) is not good for (ahem) over forty-year old skin. Fear not, help is on the way.
The secret to soft, young skin is exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate. The easiest way to do this is in the shower with loofah gloves. You can buy these really inexpensively in any drug store or discount store. Just put them on and use your favorite body wash and scrub. When you get out of the shower douse yourself in moisturizer and your skin will love you and look all glow-y and new. People will stop you in the street to exclaim about your complexion.
Well maybe not, but you will look nicer.
At this time of year, when I live in cotton skirts (if it would only warm up a bit) and capris my moisturizer of choice is L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Gradual Self Tanning Lotion.
You see, I have the most white, cottage cheese looking legs in the universe. Time in the sun is useless because red and blistered is not a good look for me either. That's where this stuff comes in. It really works nicely, no orange and it is a subtle change.
So if you would like to be a beach-y tan goddess by the time the summer starts, or just slightly less pale, leave a comment in this post and you could win a package of six pairs of loofah gloves and a 6.7 fl oz bottle of the L'Oreal.
How this week is working:
I will leave comments open on all the posts until Friday evening.
Please only enter each Give-Away once. I will pick the winners over the
weekend and post the whole lot of them on Monday.
These
products that I will be gifting are truly that, my gifts to you my readers
who are so kind to me. I hope that you all have fun participating in
this.
Have a blessed day!

I’m Irish. You completely understand my issues with skin tone, I’m sure. The only part of me that gets a tan is my left arm, because I’m always driving somewhere. *sigh*
And BTW, if you ever get a burn of any kind (cooking, sun etc) put some zinc oxide (aka diaper cream) on it. Even before babies #3 & #4 appeared on the scene, I kept desitin or its cohorts in my first aid kit. Red goes away overnight, no more pain, and no heinous vinegary sting or smell.
