Charlotte Mason and I need to reacquaint ourselves. This past school year went ok, considering all that we've been through but I definitely did not have my heart in it and neither did the children. We just missed Ryan too much. It has been nearly a year now and I still cry at the drop of a hat but I do feel some enthusiasm for my work as a homeschool teacher returning. Some.
I was delighted to see that my friend Theresa is also going back to the CM way. Theresa and I have been online friends for a number of years now and we actually were able to meet at the 4Real conference a few years ago. She was a great source of inspiration to me early on and I am looking to her for more as she turns back to CM (blog more Theresa!).
Michele, Alice, Lissa and Macbeth have always provided inspiration and I have been stalking some people's blog for more mostly Jen lately.
I like the idea of settling back into a routine that includes lots of read-a-louds, narrations, copy work and time outside. Discussions and writing shall be a big focus as well.
