It boggles my mind that he has been gone from us for a year. I still listen for him and I often set his place at the dinner table. He's gone and so is a big part of Dave and I, we ask for your prayers for ourselves and the children in these coming days. Facing this day is a little like losing him all over again.

Dear Mary Ellen and family:
Like one of the previous posters, I only came to “know” your loving family through the internet last August. I have always enjoyed reading your columns in TLIC.
My thoughts and prayers are with you always. I also ask Regina and Cecilia to watch over Ryan in heaven. These are two moms who passed away from cancer, leaving their autistic sons Matthew and Timothy. Matt is my 22 yr old nephew and Tim is 21 and sings in the choir.
I know that our Holy Mother Mary is holding Ryan in her tender embrace. I will offer my Rosary and Mass this weekend for the Barrett family.
