I hope everyone is having a nice weekend.
I'm not ig into resolutions. It seems to me a set-up for failure. I do like setting up a list of goals for the coming seasons though. It seems so much more reasonable and accomplishable than a year long list of seemingly impossible goals. I also try to incorporate small changes here and there to make our family life work better and keep us healthy and on track.
Anyway, one of the small changes we've made, one of my goals for the family is to drink less juice and more water. This is mostly prompted by some unhappy results of recent dental exams. In spite of watering down the juice in the house some little ones are still being affected by the sugar (bad mother moment in the dentist office)
So here is my most recent small change
A water jar sitting on the counter filled every morning with ice and water and lemons, limes or orange slices. This has really helped make a smooth transition from juice to water. So easy for me.
What is working for you in the kitchen lately?

That’s a very nice touch and idea!
I’m glad I’m in good company. I don’t make NY resolutions for the same reasons.

This is a wonderful idea – and beautiful too. I love your water jar. Where did you buy it, if you don’t mind sharing?

I thought of something! This fall I found the perfect size salad bowl for my little family (it was in my cabinets). I use this bowl only for salads and I make a lot more of them now. It has a matching lid which is nice too.

Thank you ladies. The glass jar was a $25 item from Costco early in the summer.
Marcia cucumbers are a great idea! I always have lots on hand because we snack on them.
