Our second delivery so far and we only use a wood burning fireplace, we don't heat the house or anything. I love having a fire going while we do school, it seems to draw everyone in and makes for such a cozy atmosphere.
A doll house, little rocker and roaring fire. Am I blessed or what?

Very lucky. I wish we had a working fireplace. We’re not sure ours even can be brought up to code even if we had the money to invest on it. I’d love to have a roaring fire to cozy up to in the winter.

The driveway dump is a frequent sight around out house too. I’m wondering how you keep the floor around the fireplace that clean with all the wood going in and out of the house all day…

We use the fireplace here a lot at the farmhouse! We heat with a mixture of oil, space heaters, and wood. I wish we had enough fireplaces to heat with only wood, but man does it get cold here! My husband does a lot of splitting our wood himself (which is free) but sometimes we just have it delivered, too. Great picture!
