This evening my sweet Kevin will receive Jesus for the first time in the Blessed Sacrament. We are so excited here at the Bonny Blue House. This is special for all of the obvious reasons but also because one of our beloved Franciscan Friars will be celebrating the Mass and Kevin will be sharing the day with his friend Hannah. Hannah and Kevin have been buddies since they were born (Kelli is also Hannah's BFF) and they were both baptized by Franciscan priests so this day is particularly joyful for everyone.
Tomorrow we party. We are having a combined party here and it is going to be big!
Umm. I have some work to do on that yard. Don't worry I have lots of minions ;).
Thank you all so much for your prayers this week. The combination of Mother's Day, Ryan's birthday and Kevin's communion, all joyful family occasions that are again taking place without Ryan, well it has thrown me for a loop. Very difficult. Your prayers and kindness are deeply appreciated.
Prayers for you, Mary Ellen, during what must be a very strangely up-and-down time, and will continue to be, I’m sure, as you adjust to Ryan’s absence.
