I have been making this non-stop for a week now. It makes a nice gift and is super easy.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
Take a low casserole dish and fill it with 4-6 cups of blueberries. I used frozen since they aren't yet available locally.
Toss the blueberries with about 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 cup flour and 1/2 cup of sugar and stick it in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes until the juices flow.
While that's happening, mix up your favorite biscuit dough adding 1/4 cup of sugar. Mine is this:
2 cups of flour
4 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
3 tsp butter (cut up)
6 tbsp milk
Mix the first four ingredients until crumbly in the food processor. Slowly add the milk until the dough pulls away from the bowl.
Take the fruit out of the oven and drop the biscuit dough on top in a haphazard and homey method. sprinkle with a little sugar and cook until the dough is golden and the house smells good.
Yummy.

Mary Ellen, I had no idea what to do with all of my blueberries (dh and I each bought boxes without realizing the other was doing the same, for a surprise! Yes, we were surprised!) I made this recipe as soon as I read it. Delicious! It didn’t last the night. I have made two more since last week. :o) God Bless!
