I was really happy to find a few new blogs this week that I was so impressed by and happy to spend some time with. I thought I would share with you my discoveries and also some long time favorites that may be new to you. I hope you share any you have found with me in the comments. It's so important to be supportive of the blogging community and to encourage great content, isn't it?
This is my favorite new find of the week, a blog called Going Reno. She's an author with a hubby and three kids and this great blog about organizing and frugal living and lots of other stuff. Her post about the three B's: Binders, Brain Dump and Bullet Journal is a little food for the soul, especially for those of us, and I'm one, who are obssessed with how people keep their acts together. Her photos are lovely and the whole blog is worth a cup of tea (or glass of wine) and some time to explore. I love her bullet journal and I find it all really inspiring.
Beauty That Moves, Heather does a weekly blog hop called, This Week In My Kitchen, which is a great way to find fun blogs to be inspired by. Heather takes beautiful pictures and her blog is always a peaceeful respite. I took her last vegan workshop and it has changed a lot in the kitchen here. Go over and revel in the loveliness.
My friend Meredith. at Sweetness and Light is uber organized and is actually planning her blog posts for the remainder of the year. She has a reader survey asking your opinion on what you would like to hear. I said YES to the podcast and I'm hoping many more people do as well! Go over and vote yes to everything. Let's keep Meredith busy :)!
Did you know yesterday was "Talk Like A Pirate Day"? Practical Princess Diaries had such a cute post with printables for a pirate treasure hunt and directions to make a treasure map. It would work great for a birthday party or just for a fun rainy day activity. This is a new-to-me blog that I am enjoying a great deal. A lot of creativity (check out the homeschool planning post).
Michele Quigley is preparing for fall, much to the chagrin of her kids. It's a cute little post with a beautiful photograph. Michele has a gift for photography.
Everyone knows I'm a big admirer of Dawn's blog and of Dawn herself. Such a dear person. Her post about her homeschool wall was great inspiration. I especially loved the poetry door and plan to do one soon. Check out her planning category in her category cloud, it's a favorite of mine.
It's going to be a busy weekend here, (aren't they all?) but I would love to see your favorite blogs linked in the comments so we can share new things or even a favorite blog post written by yourself. Don't be shy, share away!
Have a wonderful weekend.
